Harold Blair with Cherbourg marching girls in Melbourne 1962
In 1962, Harold Blair organised a team of marching girls from Cherbourg to perform at the Moomba Festival in Melbourne. He began the Aboriginal Children’s Holiday Project, which was to provide vacations in Melbourne for three thousand children from Queensland mission stations.
